Again with 3 straight automatic outs; five, if not for Damon coming up before Jeter-Abreu. The newly-acquired bat who got his first Yankee hit (a homer) last night. You'd think that if there's such a thing as momentum carrying over that Nady might have some. I can understand him wanting to rest A-Rod a little, but how about sitting Giambi to free up 1B for Nady. Or sitting Abreu (has he gotten a day off since that time Girardi gave him that inexpicable day off during his hot streak?) to free up RF for Nady. Or does Girardi not want to sit Abreu for Nady because he got questioned by the media about that last night and speculation (common sense) says that Nady's going to replace him there next season and Joe |

You can count that as 6, since Jeter will make 4-5 if Damon gets on 1st |

Girardi is a total f*cking moron. What a God-awful lineup. Cashman gets him a bat, who hit his first HR yesterday, and he sits him so he can play Wilson Betemit. Stupid ass. |

Jeter is a soft 7 for 32 against Cabrera, not to mention his habit of hitting into the DPs against a ground-ball pitcher. Yet, he still plays. |

If Girardi sits Jeter, half the fans at the Stadium will light themselves on fire in protest. |

Melky is 3 for 18 against Cabrera and is f*cking playing. What's wrong with putting Nady in CF for a game and see what he has? What need is the defense there when the bats don't score |

I'm tempted to lay a bet down on Baltimore after this lineup, the fact Cabrera could actually shut us down, and Rasner is starting. I feel we'll win though. I should just lay it down on Baltimore and not look back |

This team hasn't earned our faith. I bet on Baltimore today straight up. +162 is good odds. Baseball is hard to bet on, but that's a good bet considering Baltimore probably has the better starter going |

I've said it about Melky and he does it again. His good arm doesn't seem to be used accurately when we really need the throw on line |

Can they give the Moeller stuff a rest? Rasner just got lucky his first few starts and Moeller happened to be his catcher. There's nothing that is going to turn this guy's stuff around. He just isn't good. Minnesota should have been his last start |

That's Giambi, even when healthy and putting up the solid numbers he's as streaky as they come. It f*cking sucks!!!! :wall: In August he'll hit like 11 HRs, just watch! Then in September he will vanish again! |

Yes and yes. Giambi's back to hitting like Melky Cabrera, weak flyouts to left, soft grounders and strikeouts. And that ball to 1st wasn't exactly a bullet with a hard shorthop. It was very easily played. Kay knows nothing about baseball |
