I'm not Yes or No, so I don't want to be listed as either. I really don't know right now. This team sucks, but they've sucked for years and still made the playoffs. But this team has sucked even more than usual. If July 31st comes and goes and they make no manuevers and there's no help on the horizon to get Rasner and Ponson out of the rotation, I'd go no.

I assume we are going to manuever though. I'm 60/40 yes

With Rasner and Ponson getting regular starts for the foreseeable future?

It's possible, which is an indictment on the American League more than the Yankees being good

1-5 since the 8 game winning streak now. They've almost completely negated it. Unbelievable and even worse, none of them give a sh*t. Not one. No way in hell this team makes the playoffs. No way.

They'll make the playoffs.

9th inning, Game 5 in Anaheim of Los Angeles in California, Yankees lead 2-1. In comes Mariano to blow another post-season series. Mark it down.

 Cause he blows every big post season game right?

Hows this for a post season career:

8-1 with a 0.77 ERA and 34 saves over 117.1 innings pitched.

Damn..

How's this?

-Blew the 1997 ALDS vs. Cleveland
-Blew Game 7 of the 2001 WS against the DBacks when all we needed were three stinkin' outs.
-Blew back-to-back games in Boston in the 2004 ALCS that led to the greatest collapse ever.

Has he had great moments? Yes. He has also had some of the worst and they negate a lot of the good.

Odds on bets that the Yankees make the playoffs should be getting +500 odds at this point. What a disgraceful bunch of cunts and ******s. Watch us go into LA and sweep the Angels, only to go get swept by the Twins and lose 2 of 3 to the Royals

Not making it. Hopefully next year they come back with some fresh faces and a new attitude. I want losers like Jeter and Abreu out of here.

Jeter will be back, sadly. Abreu has to be gone though. Put Nady in RF. Or keep him in LF and trade Jeter for Kemp so he can replace Abreu.

Brother YF, you should realize as well as anyone that NOBODY would be willing to trade for Jeter at this point. The contract alone makes him immovable. Then weighed against his production (because other teams don't get to see the intangibles that we do) makes it a definite. Besides, the Yankees would never ever, ever trade him. I wish I had the power to view alternate endings. I'd love to see the reaction to Jeter getting traded. Listen to sports radio on that day. And get that Matt Kemp sh*t outta your head. He's hitting .294 with 13 homers, 60 RBIs and 26 stolen bases and he's 23. No f*cking way, ever. I don't care how much pull Torre might have over there, he doesn't have enough clout to convince anyone to trade a 23-year-old who's already better than the 34-year-old for the 34-year-old, who also happens to make $20M a year. No f*cking way. Their GM probably wouldn't even run it by Torre. He'd just laugh at Cashman on the phone, ask if he's drunk, and tell him to eat a Polynesian dick.

I know it won't happen. It's a pipe dream. I just want Jeter off this team. I can't stand him anymore. Unfortunately that wonderful day won't come until this washed up whore decides to retire.

He's a big reason for Red Sox fans making my life during the baseball season miserable since 2004. So it negates a lot of the good for me.

All you have to do is reminding them how many championships you have compared to them.

Stop it, that shet doesn't work anymore. They have the last 2 championships, embarrassing us along the way. The Red Sox own the Yankees right now, end of story.

You think Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth winning 716 titles bothers Red Sox fans now-a-days? They don't give a shet, believe me. Talk to them and you will find out. Nothing bothers them anymore when it comes to the Yankees, nothing. Brag about 26 titles and they will laugh in your face and bring up blowing a 3-0 series lead. There is nothing you can say to that.

Until we win another WS, the Red Sox are on top.

I bet you've pictured Big Papi on top.

If you let them get to you then that's more about you. They've had more recent success, but we won 4 championships before that...they're still a beat behind.
