But honestly, when going to see Batman, I automatically suspend disbelief. Obviously, one man couldn't pull the sh*t that went down in that movie and they had both Batman and Joker scheming things that would never work out as planned. It's designed to be over the top. The only time that really got me out of that mindset was them pretending Maggie Gylenheal is attractive and the situation of the two ferrys. Both buttons would have been pushed so quickly in real life. I'm thinking the Riddler idea will be used, since Bruce is hunted now, or at least Batman, and he needs to pay to keep that douche quiet. Something will happen that makes that guy extremely evil. But it seems like that will just resort back to the cornyness of the original with Jim Carrey. Maybe they can pull it off well though.

And seriously, wouldn't it have fit the Joker for his real name to have been Joe Kerr. They'd have never thought it would be that simple

People thought the Joker would be too silly for this movie and it turned out great. As long as they don't get a massive fat joke like DeVito to play the role. A guy like Philip Seymour Hoffman would be great. A rumor I have read is that Phillip Seymour Hoffman could be the Penguin. Someone mentioned this that got me excited; James Gandolphini as the Penguin. Make him a serious mobster type guy known as the Penguin. It would work.
