I haven't followed wrestling in awhile, but a game like this is something I've wanted for a long time. Supposedly, there's going to be tons of old wrestlers from the past glory days of Wrestlemania. I just hope they go back to older game play, use real entrance music, and don't skimp on the details. For instance, Ravishing Rick Rude was a legend in the past Samckdown vs RAW, and they used music he barely used and he didn't walk out with the robe on.

No real details on the game have been announced at this point. I'm looking forward to it though. I hope it doesn't disappoint. I want guys like Tito Santana, Big Boss Man, Andre The Giant, Million Dollar Man, Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior, etc in this game. I hope they don't try selling a lot of today's midcarders as "legends."

Meh, sounds cool but I haven't really enjoyed a Wrestling video game since WWF No Mercy for N64.

Hopefully it's different than the SD vs RAW games, like a totally different engine. I would love it if they went back and used an engine based off the N64 wrestling games, those were so good. I don't want it to be Smackdown vs RAW, just with Legends instead of current wrestlers.

I didn't even play the newest Smackdown vs RAW, since the gameplay was supposedly so bad. I have no idea how they wanted to tinker with what was working. I will probably buy this game just on nostalgia alone, but I hope they put more effort into the wrestlers and the gameplay than usual.

I'm one of the fools that buys Madden and Smackdown vs RAW every year, even though they are the same, and sometimes downgrades, as the release a year before.

The last SD vs RAW was TERRIBLE. They put in these new "fighting styles" that screwed up everything. Certain wrestlers couldn't do certain moves with their "Fighting style." Every wrestler went from having about 30 moves to having 16. They got really lazy with it, most of the wrestlers didn't even have new attire, just the same wrestling gear as they did the year before, which is ridiculous. The roster was smaller than the year before, the Legends were downgraded (Eddie Guerrero was only available on the PSP, WTF?!). Just a terrible junk of a game.

WWE owns WCW and ECW, this Legends game SHOULD be huge. I'm not thrilled it's being called "Legends of WrestleMania," as that could limit them when including WCW and ECW Legends. I'd love to see Kevin Nash in there. I know he's with TNA, but he has a good relationship with HBK, HHH, and Vince. I want to see:

Razor Ramon (with an nWo alternate attire)
Hulk Hogan (with Hollywood alt.)
DDP
Taz
Sabu
RVD
Ric Flair
Arn Anderson
Ole Anderson
Tully Blanchard
Dean Malenko
Bret Hart
Owen Hart
British Bulldog
Brian Pillman
Stone Cold
The Rock
Andre the Giant
Mike Awesome
Mr. Perfect
Lex Luger
Brock Lesnar
Cactus Jack
Terry Funk
Goldberg
Ricky Steamboat
Earthquake
Typhoon
Dibiase
IRS
LoD
Demolition
The Rockers (1990's alt. for HBK)
Shane Douglas
Chris Candido
Bam Bam Bigelow
Randy Savage (with an nWo alt.)
Sycho Sid
X-Pac (with nWo Syxx alt.)
Justin Credible
Lance Storm

I'm sure there's a bunch of guys I'm forgetting. This game has a lot of potential. But knowing WWE and THQ, they will screw it up. We'll see Doink in there, along with Triple H and John Cena, I'm sure.

I ran with the idea that the game was going to have to feature people from Wrestlemania and such, so I excluded some of who you listed, although it'd be better than some of the mid-carders I listed. They could always use their rights to WCW and ECW for some old school cards like Starrcade and such. I also excluded some obvious ones that I don't the WWF has signed a Legends contract with. To use them, they have to have them agree to it. Sadly, Macho Man and Warrior, among other obvious ones, will be excluded.

1. Hulk Hogan
2. Tito Santana
3. Ricky Steamboat
4. Greg Valentine
5. Andre The Giant
6. Roddy Piper
7. Macho Man

Vince McMahon has decided to pull Randy Savage as a playable character in the upcoming "Legends of Wrestlemania" video game which is slated to be released by THQ next March. Savage, who competed in 9 out of the first 10 Wrestlemania's and won the WWF Championship at two of them, is being regarded by THQ as a huge loss to the video game. In addition to Savage, McMahon has also made the decision to pull Mick Foley from the game even though his character had already been created. McMahon made the decision following Foley's departure from WWE and announcement that he has signed with TNA. Several other names were also removed from the game at McMahon's request, but those names have yet to be released.

Vince is a horses ass, plain and simple.
