Cashman just announced Phil Hughes and Carl Pavano will start throwing programs within the next few days, and will both be back some time in August, barring setbacks.

yeah right....and monkeys are going to fly out of my butt! Pavano is the most useless piece of shet this team has ever had. I hope to god Hughes at least winds up with a better injury track record than that POS!

Talk about a feckin' jackass. Somebody should find a way to force that cu*t to give back the money he stole. I don't believe for a second that any of these injuries were legit, they certainly weren't so serious that he couldn't have tried to comeback and help this team but he was too gutless. He knew exactly what he was doing, he cashed in a on big year and didn't have the guts to try and live up to his contract. A complete and total scumbag, somebody really needs to kick his ass.

They had a perfect excuse to void his contract when he had that car crash and then didn't tell the team and lied about it. We should have canned his azz right there. :wall:

You're a lawyer and had the opportunity to review his contract?

It doesn't take a lawyer to figure this one out. :peace:

So you're telling me, the Yankees front office, which includes lawyers, didn't think of this brilliant, ground breaking idea? Obviously there is something in that contract which precluded them from voiding the deal. They don't enjoy paying him $10+ million a year to sit on the DL.
