Jeremy Bleich, LHP from Stanford, is the highest yankee draft pick that we can actually watch on TV. I wasn't in love with the pick at first, but its growing on me. He's a lefty who sits 88-91 (fine for a lefty) and supposedly has a plus change and breaking ball. They say he locates well and is a smart pitcher. I haven't seen him pitch, so who knows if all that is bull, We'll see. Anyway Stanford v Georgia tech today at 2 on ESPN. |

Missed it. I know the results were good, but I didn't see what he looked like. Did you see that game? |

I almost did that today. When I wake up with the AC on I never want to get up. |

4-0 Georgia. Bleich and his 88 MPH fastball are not getting it done. :puke: He doesn't look impressive at all. <_< If he has a "plus" change he certainly hasn't thrown it today. |

Cashman gets hosed again! The change looked good in the first, he seemed like the type to have better success against wood bats, but the fastball was left over way too much. He seems very hittable today. |

Bleich sucks. Leaves after 3.1 innings and has given up 4 runs so far. Leaves with the bases loaded. Great pick! :bc: I'm sure his 89 MPH fastball will do great against wooden bats though. :-| |

The rightfielder pulled an Abreu, jumping before the wall, and completely missing the ball. |

I wish they would ban the aluminum in college! Loved it when I played in HS though! |

Its stupid that they still play with aluminum. I liked it in high school too, but since I started using wood when I play baseball I have never used aluminum, wood just feels better  Anyway I know a few states, including I believe NJ have banned aluminum for high school. Others should follow suit. |
