The fans booed loudly. Joba hardly got an ovation because they were too busy booing dumbass Girardi. |

The girls from work must have been confused. I texted one, "Joba rules," towards the beginning of the game, and she wrote back, "I guess that's one of the players?" BIG SERIOUS FACE!!!! |

Ma and Pa Yankees are back. So now the Yankees took the lead and Jose Veras will get the win over Joba. Nice job, Girardi. |

RBI single A-Rod, and the Yankees take the lead. Too bad Joba can't get the win, because of Clueless Joe's new-age computerized voodoo bullshit about pitchers throwing over 100 pitches. :fyou: |

I think that would be in violation of my Sexual Harassment Training. Speaking of which, whenever I say something inappropriate or find myself about to, I yell out, "Sexual Harassment Training!" |

OMG! When YES showed a shot of the bullpen, one of the announcers asked "Who's that black guy" and when the other guy said it was Hawkins, he replied "I couldn't see him, it's too dark!" :bc: :bc: :bc: (in Spanish, of course) |

That is out of control funny! I'm laughing my ass off at my cubicle! Wow, if an English speaking announcer said that, he'd be out of a job, but this guy can get away with it! You have kept the SAP on all game? |

Yeah, I was thinking that too. If an English announcer said that all Hell would break loose! There were also talking about Jeter's personal life earlier. One of the guys said Jeter isn't married because he doesn't want to give half his money to a woman when they divorce!! He said any athlete should make any woman they marry sign a pre-nup stating if they divorce, she'll get $1 million and not a penny more. He then said if he can't get a girl to agree to that he's better off taking home a different girl every night like he's currently doing! And yeah, I've had the SAP on all game. I switched it to regular when Joba made that play at the plate, just to see what they were saying, and I was annoyed by Kay's voice and switched it right back! |

Wow, I need to start listening to SAP, and hiring a translator to sit on my couch! Or I will watch it that way at my parents' house and have my Mom translate. Is it still Roberto Clemente, Jr. and that other guy? |

I don't know, they haven't said their names! Why doesn't YES show them when they make the SAP announcement like they used to? Racist bastards. |

Sterling may have just had a seizure while saying his silly, "the Yankees win." The girl behind me mentioned it sounded like the Yankees just won the World Series. That's what Sterling doesn't get. He cheapens his calls by doing it for every win, not to mention that the Stadium plays it over the P.A. system. Good win. Too bad Joba didn't have a chance to get it. |

Total Silliness that Girardi pulled Joba when he only needed one more out (with no body on) to be eligible for the win. :furious2: |

A question. Box score says Joba pitched 5.2 innings. Since over 5 innings, why wouldn't he be eligible for the win (unless boxscore is wrong?). I wasn't able to watch earlier so I didn't see Joba pitch... :dunno: onedit, I guess he must have left with the score tied? If so, Girardi should have let him finish the inning! :fyou: |
