Three of the girls from my department are using the company seats today. I wasn't allowed to go this time. It would have been nice to see Joba pitch. Hopefully one of them will at least offer me the Yankee Stadium cap, if they were somehow one of the first 18,000 fans there.

I get to listen to Ma and Pa Yankees. Great.

Why wouldn't they allow you?

I was wondering the same thing. Get drunk and do something inappropriate last time you used the tickets? haha. I've been there.

I just went recently. It's not that I was told no, but one of the girls who won the tickets was told she couldn't ask another person from the department since we have things to do. Before she was told that, you better believe I was lobbying to be picked!

I didn't drink the last time I used the company seats. The drunken times were my own tickets (Detroit series and two nights ago). I did get drunk with one of my bosses at a game the 4th day I worked here last summer though.

I should also mention they gave me four seats each to two games for the upcoming Texas series, as well as all four to next Wednesday's Mets game against unstoppable Seattle. It could be my Shea farewell.

I can't even afford to get drunk there anymore, the prices are ridiculous. If I'm paying 8 dollars for a beer I better be at a club in atlantic city or vegas. I've also given up on getting wasted in the car on the way there. Last time I did that I had to sit through 4 innings of Randy Johnson on a bad day. On top of that my buddy told me these two sox fans stole our seats, so we sat behind them and I was obnoxious toward them for most game only to find out that my friend didn't even mention to them that they were in our seats. I felt like an asshole. Don't remember a ton of it, but I remember talking sh*t about Jon Lester (this was pre cancer when that was still aloud).

They were $9.50 each the other night! Those were the big ones, but still, it's crappy keg beer. I only had 3 at the actual game this time though. Most of them were consumed on the train ride into the city and at the bowling alley bar across from the Stadium.

Wait til the new place. Beers will be $15. If you want a burger at the Hard Rock, be prepared to cough up $50! The best thing really is just to get there early and hang out at the bars. There's a bunch of cool ones to choose from, although I always seem to end up at the bowling alley.

The only time I've ever sat in my seat at a Yankees game was when I had great seats behind the Yankees dugout. Besides that, I just sit wherever. I thought everybody did that.

I usually do that too. Our seats were in the first row in the tier that day though. I just didn't feel like sitting in the second row. Now that I think about it I think we sat next to them and not behind them. In retrospect there was no reason for me to be a dick lol.

PS-I believe I said Lester was overrated, not that he sucked.

Haha I don't know. I don't bowl there and I don't stay for the game. If you're with someone who stupidly brings a bag, though, there's a cheap bag check-in there.

I was wondering what those people do! When I was getting searched at the game on Tuesday, these idiots in suits asked the guy if they can bring their bags in. The looks on their faces when they were told they couldn't bring them in were absolutely hilarious.

I went to a game at the Stadium and it was about half full. Neagle started and gave up about 7 or 8 runs by the 3rd inning. :puke:

Anyway, we were in our seats in the wings of the upper deck with HUNDREDS of empty seats around us. This f*cking yugoslavian or turkish or whatever the f*ck they are (the people who's females wear those stupid Virgin Mary type shits over their heads) family comes and says we are in their seats!! I was beyond pissed, I was settled in, had my soda and nacho's ready to go. They could of sat anywhere, but they decide to sit in their assigned seats like morons!

Now that Joba is a "full-fledged starter" (as they keep reminding us), does that mean they'll stop with the pitch count nonsense or bombard us even more?
