The Sunshiners were making fun of his crossword puzzles and his eating habits in Japan, we were busy backing this guy up and sticking with him!

Funny.

Amit and I backed this man from day one. A couple of others did too. The VC jumped on the bandwagon this year when Kocur predicted he could have a quietly productive year with no expectations on him as the 5th starter (at the time).

Either way, congrats to Moose on his 17th straight season with 10 or more wins. He extended his own record for consecutive seasons in the AL double digit win club.

The VC has loved Moose about as much as Vin loves drinking water during the game.

Give Kocur the credit. BTW, Clemens is still the better Yankee.

Moose would have won those World Series if he were here in 1999 and 2000. Clemens didn't make that much of a difference then.

Mussina 2001-2003 was better than any of Clemens' years as a Yankee except for 2001.

Yeah it's not like Clemens was our best pitcher or anything in 2000. You're right, Andy. Good call :-|

Also he's not a whore who was too good for the Yankees until they were winning and the BlueJays/Astros weren't.

And also bitched out of his last game and had to get his ass saved by a 20 year old.

You guys are all such slobs. Alot of short memories around here. Keeping jerking off to Mussina though. Mussina only once (2001) has won two games in a postseason for us while Clemens did it three times with us and then both times with the Astros in '04 and '05. Don't tear Clemens down to build Mussina up because you're only gonna look like stupid rose colored Yankee fans Kocur always says you are.

Mussina has a career 3.42 postseason ERA. It's not his fault the rest of the team couldn't get past the first round the last three years.

Clemens has a 3.75 ERA.

Mussina was also never a member of the hated (loved, in Williamsyastzemski's case) Boston Red Sox.

If anyone has the rose colored glasses its you. We're just stating facts. I don't give a good sh*t either way about either pitcher. They are both less than likable people who pitched well some years they were here and not so well other years they were here.

He also did a fine job putting us in a position where we had to go 7 because he couldn't win either of his starts. They were both pretty inconsistent that series. Clemens the big win in Game 3 in Fenway then whored it up at home in game 7. Moose coulnd't win a start but redeemed himself with the great job out of the pen in Game 7. I was pretty pissed at both until the end of that series though because each of them had played a big role in putting us in a bad way.
