The Dark Side Posts: 33,035 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: January 29, 2004	It got a 10 from IGN.com, not much more needs to be said. They never give out 10's. Only 3 games in history have gotten 10's and the last was a decade ago! The game really is outstanding. The game is just awesome, they captured NYC perfectly. It's not an exact copy of NYC, it's more like a parody of it, but it's done so well, it just feels like NYC. The graphics are just ridiculous. I mean, there are games that look better, more realistic (Gears of War, Uncharted, etc.), but none of them are the scale of GTA IV. The city is just huge, full of life, and detailed. The music is good too, not nearly as good as Vice City, but it's good. I'm sure you'll love the classic hip-hop station! And the story is by far the best of any GTA. Niko Bellic is the best main character ever. And the supporting cast of characters are great. Roman, Little Jacob, Packie, Florian, Gerry, they are all great! The best thing is, if you have the 360 version, there is more to come! There are two downloadable episodes coming out for the 360. One later this year, the next in early 2009. Both episodes will just continue the story, more missions, new characters, etc. There are some loose ends at the end of the game, there are still things Niko has to take care of and I'm sure the 2 episodes will tie those up. It's just awesome. It really is Jesus in a Box. Months of awesomeness for $65, you can't go wrong!

Wow, sounds great but I only have a PS2, think I'm going to wait till I upgrade to PS3 or 360 probably towards the FAll. What platform you playing it on? I bought it on the 360. I rented it on the PS3. It's basically the same game. They both look great, but the 360 version is a little brighter and more colorful, so I like it better. But some people like the way the PS3 version looks a little darker. It's about preference. Plus, all of my friends have it on the 360. So playing with them online is a major plus. The PS3's online service sucks, it's damn near impossible to play games with your friends online. It's free, so I guess you get what you pay for. Also the 360 version is getting the 2 downloadable episodes, so it's a no brainer. :gaysmile:
