So far not so good for this guy. I called his start vs. Beckett in Boston huge, and he didn't pitch well at all. Then I wanted him to step up and shine in Game 1 and show us the ace he is, and he sh*t the bed and made it clear he wasn't a #1. Well now he has to show is guts and toughness on 3 days rest with our season on the line. Step the f*ck up.

I want 6 preferably 7 innings and 2 runs or less. I'm not taking this 3 or 4 runs sh*t, 2 runs or less!

Exactly, no f*cking around tonight. I want this to be a smooth crisp game tonight. I don't want this thing to be real tight late. Joba is tired, and although he is available; the question will be what kind of stuff is he going to have. I want to score early and often and Byrd and Wanger to pitch a vintage start. A 6-2 final or something like that would be nice, I'd like more runs but you can't get nuts. Byrd is a solid vet, don't think we will bomb him like we did in the last start in Cleveland, Wang needs to be money.
