How can you possibly second guess bringing back Joba for a 2nd inning. There is no game 4 without winning game 3. Idiots.

You could have started Veras in the 8th and then had Mo waiting if he got into any trouble which I'm sure he would have. Then you work Mo to much, so somebody was going to get two innings or 1 plus innings tonight, Mo or Joba. I don't have a problem with what they did.

It was the right decision. I think I might've actually let Hughes go batter-by-batter in the 7th, but I'm not in disagreement with using Joba either. Certainly he had to pitch the 8th.

Yeah, that batter to batter deal would have probably been the best idea to avoid using Joba a full 2 innings. Too risky handing the ball to someone else in the 8th in a game like this.

No dought. What do they think Joe should've done? Hand the ball to Veras or Farnsworthless? I'm not a Torre defender but he didn't make the wrong decision here.

Definitely not Farnsworthless, maybe Veras, but again; I would have done the same thing Joe did.

Why do you have any faith in Veras? The guy has hardly pitched. To me, you win game 3 and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow.

I trust Veras more then I do Farnsworth, but you have to have Mo up and ready right away starting that inning if Veras gets in any trouble, so with that being said you clearly don't have any faith in Veras either. As I said, someone had to go more then an inning, either Mo or Joba, tonight it was Joba and tomorrow you do the opposite.

Hughes was pitching so well, I would have kept going with him but with the season on the line I can't second guess Joe there. They can use Joba for 1 and Mo for 2 tonight if they lead.
