 Is Wedge really that stupid? You have Fatso for a possible Game 5, why not pitch both of your guns again. Silliness for starting Byrd. |

Maybe he's bluffing to try and throw us off but I doubt it. They are playing with house money. Even if they start Byrd and lose you have Sabathia Game 5 at home and then Carmona for Game 1 in Boston. If Byrd wins, now you have your top two for the first two in Boston. |

Really bad move if he starts Byrd, I mean maybe the guy throws the game of his life, pitched well against us in the 2005 ALDS Game 4 I think it was against us when he was with the Angels, but with that said that is the only good game he's really ever had against us. |

We'll see what happens. It's house money for the Tribe right now. |

Never mind, Lackey pitched that 4th Game against Chacon, Byrd pitched the 3rd game, shut us out the first 3 but then we jumped him in the 4th. |

I don't think it is house money tomorrow, when you were up 2-0 the last thing you really want is to go back home for that 5th game, you want to end it when you have the chance to end it, look at the Yankees back in '04. The last thing we wanted to do was to go back home and we did and lost. I mean sure, they are set up GREAT for a Game 5 if it does go that far, but if they setup with CC tomorrow they are setup in both games if needed since they can throw Carmona on normal rest on Wednesday. I think if you are the tribe and even though you might burn CC out tomorrow on short rest and he doesn't pitch GREAT, he will probably give you a much better chance to win then Byrd and you still have Fatso to fall back on for a possible Game 5. |

Yeah it was the game Randi spit the bit. Still, never know what can happen. Up 2-1 with Sabathia waiting to go Game 5 at home, I might roll the dice to be honest. I can't say for sure because I'm obviously not in the situation though. We'll see what happens and I just hope whoever we face, we find a way to win. |

That's a good point too, I'm not Eric Wedge so I don't know what he's thinking. It's possible he could wake up tomorrow and change his mind, wouldn't be the first time anybody's done that. |

If I didn't have Fatso waiting, then I would hold CC back for a possible Game 5 duel. However, with Byrd's history against the Yankees and the fact that he's going up against Wang, despite Wang getting beat up the other night he is typically money at home; I think you have to throw CC. That's just the way I would do it, but what the f*ck do I know. Looking forward to tomorrow, but man another one where I will be on pins and needles, I hope the bats are out in even more force tomorrow, I'd like to score a sh*t load of runs to relieve some of my nerves. |

Yeah and that 4.7 ERA to go with that, he's garbage. Doesn't mean he can't shut us down, but even if he does it doesn't change the fact that he's garbage. |
