I want no part of facing A-Rod at all, let along 19 times a year. But to me, Boston wanting to sign him would be a no-brainer. Also, I don't know who the Yankees think they are to believe that they are in any position to play hardball. They have NO leverage at all and if they don't attempt to re-sign A-Rod after he opts, Cashman has to pay with his job, and George needs to sell the team because to me it will just be a message that this organization doesn't care anymore. Though I all ready felt that way to begin with since they elected to bring Torre back, again, when his ass should've been fired. This team has made so many horrendous decisions the last seven years it's mind boggling. |
