That's why Cashman should stay. For all his dumb moves like Igawaa, Pavano and Wright, he and Oppenheimer single handedly restocked the Farm. If you look at just pitching, I bet they have the best farm system in beisabol. This wealth of young pitching (and available $$$ for select free agents) will virtually guarantee the next dynasty is right around the corner, starting in 2009 or 2010. :peace:

(Although their minor league position players mostly are mediocre...) :puke:

I saw that Alan Horne in the Double A All-Star game. Looked very average and hittable. Is he considered a prospect? I'd trade him if so.

It's knee-jerk, I'll admit, but I've been fair to some young guys we've had. I liked Wang right off the bat and thought Cano had amazing potential before he even started hitting. Horne just seems like one of those typical guys that does well in the minors, but just doesn't have what it takes to get by big league hitters. He's a "sinkerballer with strikeout stuff." I remember seeing Brandon Webb's first few rookie starts and liking the guy a ton. I know my sinkerballers. Horne ain't gonna be sh*t.

And cut off the snide remarks such as that Santana remark. I appreciate good stuff, and comments like that ruin the points you're trying to make.

Wasn't the weather for that game rediculously bad or something? I heard he looked good. Late bite on the fastball and a hammer curve. He's considered a prospect and has been mentioned by Cashman as one of the pitchers that won't be traded.

I think it was suspended in the third inning.

I heard the outfielders couldn't see the ball out of the pitchers hand. Not a good game to judge a pitcher in at all. I wouldn't put any stock into it.
