Anybody watch last night??? It came on a little later then it normally would due to the ridiculous length ( as always ) of the home run derby. I was pleasantly surprised, it was really good. Oliver Pratt (who plays Steinbrenner) has nailed George to a tee. He has his voice pattern and rhythm down perfectly, I was very impressed. I suggest if you haven't watched, catch the replay of it and start tuning in, pretty good stuff.

The production was a little choppy, but the characters, especially Munson, were all done very well.

It was pretty good. The guy who plays Reggie though is a big whack job. He thinks 9/11 was an inside job.

What's with actors and actresses that aren't much of anybody thinking they have the right to have opinions? I love House, but I was livid the actress that plays Dr Cuddie, Lisa Edelstein, has political opinions that she spews. Be somebody if you're going to be the typical Hollywood liberal. Anyways....

I was just going to ignore the series, but I happened to catch it last night with nothing on. I liked it and will follow it, although Rob's idea of waiting for the DVD is smart as well. My dad thinks they aren't being fair to Billy Martin, but I thought it was pretty well regarded he was a womanizing alcoholic. Hell, he looked like one. I honestly didn't know the sequence of events in the 70s. It's interesting to see.

One thing that made me very upset was seeing Steinbrenner being free angry and knee-jerk. He went from one extreme to another in his life, although that decision to get Reggie probably won them those titles. He would have easily fired that big nosed jerk a long time ago, and I'm bitter towards him for not.

Maddog said that Platt was getting horrible reviews for his portrayal of Steinbrenner. Maybe I misheard him.
