He better shut his mulatto yap about wanting a contract extension after we try to give A-Rod one. The new stadium will be the "House A-Rod Built" not the one "Danica Tried to Build But Broke Her Nail"

f*ck WE'RE GONNA LOSE A-ROD :furious2:

Get used to A-Rod wearing a different color uniform, Yankee fans. Between Jeter's greed and backstabbing and Cashman's fiscal conservatism (Bruney, Nieves, Phelps ect..) A-Rod will end up a Giant.

He's headed to the Angels, no dought. They have the need and the $$$. He'd be crazy to stay on this sinking ship. With Arod, the Angels win the WS. :venom4:

No doubt, and you know from 2008 on that A-Rod is going to be a Yankee killer. Make no mistake, we will meet up with his team in the playoffs at one point and he's going to shove it right the Yankees' asses. :puke:

A Rod is going nowhere! NO TEAM .....not the Giants....not Arte Moreno's Vlad led Angels...can pay Arod what the Yankees can....not to mention the side work in endorsements. A ROd is on the verge of owning this town! He is putting up the kind of numbers everyone envisioned him putting up when he first got here...and doing alot of damage late in games which was something alot of people INCLUDING myself were all on his case about. This season is all about A Rod proving his dominance over all of baseball and the entire Yankee roster....after this season, this team and any future players who come here are here with his input and blessing! I'm glad he's finally over the hump.....

As for Jeter...he will get his extension too, and still be overpriced, but Goerge will make sure he gets 3,000 as a Yankee...bank on it, and he will have to learn to defer to A Rod....its clearly his team now!

When Jeter's contract is up, let him go and move A-Rod back to short.

Jeter is the most overpaid entity this universe has ever seen.

The Angels will come up with the cash to get A-Rod if they have the oppurtunity. And they provide A-Rod with a better chance to win since this organization isn't doing sh*t for the next couple years.

Moreno all ready proved with the Vlad signing that if he wants a player bad enough, he'll show them the money.

You also know Boston will get in on this, just because they'll feel like it.

Does A Rod really want to go down as a nomad though??? One of the greatest players of all time never really settling and having one home. I mean what....6 years with the M's, 3 with the Rangers, 4 with the Yanks, 6 or so with the Angels, then maybe elsewhere after that? Come on, it's in his best interest to stay in New York. He will have to deal with the presure, but he could finish his career with the Yankees and go down as one of the greatest to ever wear the pinstripes. He'll have a chance to win year after year and will finally have an "offical" baseball home. Right now he's just been everywhere for a few years then moves on, he doesn't want to keep doing that.

He can stay here and not sniff the WS for at least a few more years while the people running the show clean up the mess they've made or he can go elsewhere, get a fresh start, have less pressure on him and have a shot to win in 2008. I think the choice is obvious. He's as good as gone and nothing short of $30 mil a year (which we will not pay) will keep him here.

This team should be a legit world series contender in 2009.

I was thinking more along the lines of 2010, but either way if we lose A-Rod you can push it back further. And I really am not buying that A-Rod wants to stay here. I want to believe it, but looking at it from his perspective I don't see any reason why he would truly want to be here. Most fans I talk to still don't like him, even with the year he's having, the media tries to throw dirt on him any chance they get and the team is not that good. If I were him the first thing I'd do in the offseason is use my opt out clause and start talking to other teams.

I was thinking that also Homie. They already vomited this season away. hopefully we'll see some of these sorry asses gone by the end of this month....next year alot of dead wood is gone and they will begin inserting the yutes into the lineup...and sprinkling in some good players if they can acquire some either through FA or trade. reworking the team around A Rod

Moreno can offer whatever he wants...the Yanks can always offer more. You think A Rod wants to be remembered as the Guy who always leaves when the going gets tough....the guy who couldn't carry New York on his back....no feckin way...he stays...and makes this next run of WS his doing!
