What I'm thinking is we should use the money Giambi will be off the books for on him. We can rebuild, but also be getting younger. Great glove, young. Switch-hitter. Same goes for signing a K-Rod or Nathan. Spend the money wisely.

I'd love to get Texeira. I can't believe how many trade rumors there are every year on him.

It's always been rumored, which pisses me off, that Boston would be his destination. I could see Texas struggling and sucking ass, come July, Youkalis and some low level prospects for Teixiera. If that wouldn't make you angry, nothing would.

You're right about the rumors. They've hovered over him ever since the days Texas had all those first base prospects(Hafner, A Gonzalez. All ending up pretty damn good, eh?) and Blalock was occupying his original position. I think the first was Joe Kennedy when he looked like an up and comer in Tampa for Teixiera. I forgot who nixed it, but I actually think it was that greedy f*ck Lamar in Tampa who wanted more. Could be wrong.

His favorite childhood player will likely be the Yankee manager when he becomes a free agent.

Yeah, but that's like Tom Brady being a Yankee fan and Curt Schilling idolizing Lou Gehrig. Those f*cks in Boston get their players regardless.

Or Contreras. It seems they get so f*cking lucky indirectly. They wanted those two bad and didn't get them. Didn't they also want Javier Vazquez and Kevin Brown? I remember a Nomar for Brown rumor.

Is Brady actually a Yankees fan? Maybe he just wore the cap because he liked the look. I wear caps of teams I don't give a sh*t about.

And I've heard that Mexi wants to be an Oriole.

It's always been a known fact that Brady is a Yankee fan. He's a phoney f*ck though, hateable as a person, so he did play it off in Boston, wearing Red Sock hats when he first became a star. I want a helmet first tackle on him if we get him last game of the season. You know how I hate fist pumps out of players. He goes nuts and acts like a jerkoff. A late pop putting him out for the playoffs would do my heart so well. They'll have clinched though, so Matt Cassel will be owning our secondary.
