I loved it. I didn't think it was as good as part 2. The problem I had with the movie was that it felt like too much was packed into it. You had the Peter/MJ storyline. The Peter/Harry stuff. The Peter/Eddie Brock thing. The Sandman stuff. The black Spider-Man thing. And the Venom stuff. It was just too much, the movie was long (2:20), but it seriously could have been 4 hours long! This movie should have been focused on the Harry/Peter thing, with Venom coming at the end. The Sandman was an awesome looking villain, but he really had no place in this movie. The special effects were awesome. The Sandman fights were cool. The fight at the end was the best fight sequence in any super-hero movie I have seen, it was that good. If you liked the 1st 2 Spider-Man movies, you'll like this one. |

Cool, I took my son to see the 2nd one when it came out, we have plans to see the 3rd one this weekend. Of course we saw the first one, but on DVD. I was just curious of what you thought since you were all pumped for it and are a Spdey expert! Anyway, did they set it up for a 4th one? |

No, they didn't. This movie was the end of this trilogy, and it had the feeling of "the end". But they are making 4, 5, and 6. But the whole cast from 1-3 all signed 3 movie contracts though, so we'll see if they return for the next 3. We shall see. |

It was horrible. It was like 4 movies rolled into one. "Emo" Spidey strutting around and dancing like a scene outta The Mask nearly made me walk out. |

I'll be seeing it at the IMAX tomorrow. You guys got that theatre downstate? I would assume so. It's a huge f*cking screen with amazing surround sound. I only went to see one movie there and it was awesome. |

I just got back from the theatre and I really liked it. I like when the movie has twists and extra things you don't expect. I can understand what Rob is saying about too much being packed it, but I thought it was all tied together at the end well. Didn't think they'd be able to wrap it up with all those stories. I figured the movie would just focus on that guy, who you could tell already with the backstory, was somehow not a true villian. Even after he was morphed into Sandman, he was still a guy with somewhat of a conscience, the nicer of the 3 villians, who had been transformed to guys with no remorse until the very end. It wouldn't have been as good if that was the entire story. Same for Harry and Peter, since clearly Harry wasn't as formidable as his dad, and the story would have lead to a similar ending to both 1 and 2. Him going out a hero was a good plot twist. By the way, wasn't Thomas Haden Church some nerd on a sitcom? He really looked the part well. Rugged, big arms. I was laughing at first at the notion of him as a villian, but he pulled it off well. I think Topher Grace dyed his hair because he looks too much like Tobey McGuire when he has the dark hair. I used to think they were the same. They could have done more villian build-up with Venom though, I agree, but I also sense he'll return for the next movie. That movie didn't leave a feeling at the end like anything much was done. It felt kind of ominous, like Harry Potter does towards the later books. I didn't agree that it felt like the end. |

You know. Years, I have searched, downloaded, watched, and looked at various pornography sites, downloads, and clips, and only recently have I had the unfortunate problem of finding gay males going at it. Thanks, Rob. |

Tobey Macgwire is hard to take seriously, I'll definitely give you that. I think the point of Spiderman is the guy's a dork turned super hero, so that's why they cast him. If not, they f*cked up big time with the cast. |

horrible movie.. is that really how venom was created in the comic books? a f*ckin meteor falls in NY with some oil ejaculate and it walks around with no one seeing it.. Sandman runs from the cops and falls into a de-molecualarizing pit... It takes spider man time to learn his powers but venom is making webs the size of buildings in 1 night.. solid.. wow.. This is by far the worst comic-book/superhero movie.. Kirsten Dunst is the ugliest fucckin broad in movies.. Id rather look at the korean mug from greys anatomy.. Batman bitches.. |

In the comics, the symbiote comes from space when Spider-Man was fighting God-knows-who and his costume got damaged. He accidentally found this thing where the symbiote was trapped in. He opened it and when he touched it, it went all over him and because he was thinking of fixing his suit, it became a suit on him. Pretty silly, the movie origin is a lot better. The 1990's Spider-Man cartoons had the best origin. In that show John Jameson (the guy who MJ was going to marry in part 2) went to space on a mission and he finds the symbiote on the moon. He picks it up and brings it back to earth. As they were returning the shuttle crashed landed on the George Washington Bridge, when Spidey went to save the day, the symbiote attached to his suit. That night when he was sleeping it took over him, the same way as the movie.
It's not Eddie Brock making the webs, it's the symbiote that knows how to do all that because it was bonded with Spider-Man. For some reason they didn't explain any of this in the movie.
Batman begins was awesome. But you kinda hope they don't fall into the same trap Spidey 3 did with all the villains. I mean Joker, Two-Face, and Scarecrow? |

I'm not understanding where Batman has went. Did Batman Begins start a pretend the other Batmans didn't exist effect? I know this is prequel stuff, but we already had the Jack Napier/Joker story with Batman, and certainly nothing a prequel could make a movie around, since he turned into Joker during the movie. |

Scarecrow maybe but Nolan and the writers have said that the second will only feature Harvey Dent and the 3rd will show the Joker throwing acid on Dent. Thus featuring Two-Face.
It's as if the first ones didn't exist. It was a restart of the series. |
