He had a 3.52 ERA coming out of the pen in the NL West last season. This guy is the definition of NL trash. |

Is there any fight left in the dog.....?

Too early to make an assesment on him. You guys all know the real Vizcaino will pop up around mid season, with the adjustment to the new league. But he hasn't looked good.... |

Plus he's been in the AL before, so this shouldn't be new to him, he was on the Chi Sox two years ago. |

He was on the White Sox, but he was buried deep in that bullpen. He didn't pitch all these important innings. He looks like a guy that shits his pants under pressure. He should be pitching the 6th, maybe 7th from time-to-time. Leave him away from the 8th and other critical spots. Use Farns, Bruney, and Proctor in those spots. |

Agreed. The pecking order should be Mo, Bruney, Henn, Farnsworth/Proctor, Vizciano, Myers until someone proves otherwise. Its about time performance started to matter for these pitchers. |

True, he wasn't the main guy setting up for the sox pen, so he wasn't in that many big spots with their deep pen. |

He's had other random isolated years where he pitched to a 6.00+era for over 60 innings of work without straightening himself out, so its not even like this is a case of small sample size hurting a pitcher. There is a decent chance he doesn't pitch well for the rest of the season. In a related note Randy Johnson's is getting slapped around. |

Excellent. I was afraid of him having a big year. Let's hope this continues. |
