Ron Guidry. Koc was 100% right when he said this guy can't even stop the "12:00" from flashing on his VCR let alone look at digital video collected on his pitchers.

Agreed. They all need to go. The only way anyone gets to keep their job is if they are losing their mind in the clubhouse, going after players, trying to knock Torre out for his stupidity, and acting totally opposed to the current structure. Anyone that is a willing participate of this joke of a club, they gone. Mattingly, Long, Pena, Bowa, Torre, Cashman, Guidry, the team massuese, trainers, anyone. Gone. Start from f*cking scratch!! Willie is a product of Torre and he's f*cking up ready made teams over in Flushing. No way they shouldn't have won it all last year with that sh*t League.

The worst collection of starters this team has had in over 12 years and you want to lay some blame at Guidry's feet. To quote my Dad" You can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t" and Guidry can't either. He's got 2 dependable ? starters, Andy and Moose. Everything else is smoke and mirrors, and beyond his control.

Right now you have to look at the cold hard facts, our pitchers have been down right awful and one guy has to take the blame....GUIDRY! Fire his ass.

Nor does anybody know jack sh*t about what the S&C guy does or doesn't do. Being a fan is mostly speculation. It does seem odd that nobody cares that every pitcher save Wang got hurt while pitching.

The players knew. The fact that they were complaining, and about 8 of them refused to go along with the new program, was enough of a reason to fire that clown.

I meant none of us knew. I'm not defending the SC guy, but when an injury that occurs during competition is caused by the athletes training there is often some form of discomfort, or some other hint, prior to the injury. As far as I know none of the pitchers complained about such a thing. Hughes was a freak overextending accident and the rest also happened on the mound. I agree with firing the guy because if you can't get athletes to buy into a system then its doomed even if you are right(not saying it was right). Bottom line all we are really doing, weather its at Guidry or the trainer, is pointing fingers.
