That's what I heard here. Anyways this Okajima was the bottom of the crust in Japan. I'm giving you and the Yankees fair warning that they better be honing on the closer of the Hanshin Tigers when he becomes available.....And believe me there are many other good ones over here. A lot of these Japanesse guys it seems it takes a year to catch up to them even if they are bad, ala Shingo Takatsu. I'm definitely for getting Japanese relievers on one year deals, since they get away with whatever they throw. And there's been plenty of good ones with Otsuka and Saito continuing to maintain a fairly high level. |
