Did we ever have a chance to get him this off-season? I had heard he was vehement about redeeming himself for last year, and the Braves had to know he was better than what he did last season. This is what Hudson should have been doing all along in NL. |

Seriously, that has to be the funniest thing I've seen all day. MM is Torre's number 1 fan. |

My "I told you so"s are better. Also, since I'm pretty sure we were all in agreement that Hudson would bounce back, I'm not even sure an "I told you so" is warranted. With the way Shurholtz fleeced the Mariners and Pirates this past offseason, It would have taken a ton to get Hudson, who I don't remember ever officially being shopped. |

We never had a chance on Hudson. When he's right he's the second best pitcher in the game behind Santana. |

We should have traded that BUST Hughes for him. Throw in some garbage like Jose "4th OF" Tabata and Eric "WTF happened to me" Duncan as well. |

Hard to believe how little the A's got for Hudson. Not one of Beane's finest. Although before they made the LaRoche-Gonzalez deal I think Proctor-Melkey and someone like Clippard might've got the deal done. Might've been able to deal Sheffield and Proctor which would've been better than the Detroit deal with Sanchez a question mark. |

Alot of us wanted Hudson. And I'm sure Cashman made the call. We had no shot. |
