I wouldn't put 75 past him. 50 is a low estimate at this point. |

I say take it one day at a time. He's already done enough that he has earned a pass for the next month. Let's not put high expectations on him. But I must say, this is the FIRST time, and yes I know two years ago he was awesome, that I feel we have the real A-Rod. He's not a bottom dweller waiting on mistakes to get his hits and HRs. He's just reacting no matter the count or the pitch. A-Rod's Tiger Wood's slice is back. Those balls are long gone. |

It's always a no doubta when he hits it. His swing is amazing right now, he's so locked in. Let's give some props to Long on this as well. He worked on with him on staying back and taking the ball back up the middle. A Rod was always at his best when going up the middle and the other way. I've never seen someone with opposite field power like this cat. He's back to the A Rod basics and has a clear head. Let's hope he stays clear headed and relaxed. At this point 50 should be a cake walk for him, 60 might be realistic as well! Long way to go, but he's off to one of the greatest and probably the great April for a player of allt ime. |

No doubt about A-Rod's opposite field power. I remember a right centerfield bleacher shot off Clemens to a part of the stadium Giambi couldn't reach if he really got into one. That A-Rod appears to be back. You know what's funny? Roger Maris still has the record for HRs in a season for an AL hitter. That'd be pretty special if A-Rod did that, but 62 is a lot of f*cking dingers. It's just hard for me to think someone can easily reach plateaus that high no matter how awesome they are hitting. Tino had that year in 97 when it seemed everyday he was HRing, and he still "only" ended with 44 |

Injury aside anything under 50 would be dissapointing. |
