That was probally the most entertaining Non-Red Sox PLayoff game Ive ever watched. Amazing.

You guys really shouldve won this series, but f*ck that, you went from 83 wins to 97 wins, the core of your team will be there next year, theyll only get better, not worse.

I was rooting for the Mets the entire playoffs, I actually found myself pissed when the game was over.

sh*t happens, I know what postseason f*cks ups are like, but you can easily redeem yourself the year after.

Consider the season succesful, not a failure, considering where you guys have came from.

And f*ck the Yankees.

I don't think you can go from prohibitive NL favorites to falling back on the old "good season" mantra.

The Mets were the best team in the NL from Opening Day until about a half hour ago.

And then adding...

Glavine
Pedro
Beltran
Delgado
LoDuca
Wagner

You can talk about Wright and Reyes all you want both those guys are the reason why you won 97 games.

I know it was a disappointment falling short of the WS.....but you have to be somewhat sensible here. Looking back at the disgusting years since 2000 (including the disgusting loss in 2000) it was great to have a season like we did this year.

Teams have ups and downs. You're talking about a 6 year stretch, not 26 years. With the market the Mets play in the should be able to be competitive most years.
