If it wasn't enough listening to the anti-NY bias from McCarver and Brenneman on saturday night, it goes one step worse. Buck (Cardinals announcer) and McCarver (former Cardinals player) will be doing this Mets series. I reccomend to all to mute FOX and listen to WFAN. THere is a 3 second delay from radio to the TV, so the play on the radio happens 3 seconds before the TV, but I'd still ratehr do that than listen to those two assclowns on FOX. |

I heard McCarver giving the Mets praise on more than one occasion the other night......it wasn't as bad as I thought. I guess he still remembers who he worked for throughout the 80's and 90's. |

Buck is going to be insufferable. But that's nothing new. By the way, I want all Mets fans to know that at least one Yankee fan isn't rooting against you. I've never had the energy to root against any team when divisional standings aren't in play. Good luck, i'll be watching and enjoying the games with my Mets-fan friends, if for no other reason that its enjoyable to see a team that likes each other and plays the game of baseball properly. |

I have several friends who are Mets fans, you're suggesting I should root for them to be unhappy? |

Do you think they want you to be happy? Mets fans would sooner cut their pinky then root for the Yankees. |

It's the arrogant Yankee fans that I'm now laughing at. The ones that laughed at me, Pedro, and the Mets when Pedro went down with the season ending injury. Laughing at the Mets and telling me that the Mets wouldn't get past the first round because of it. The lost Yankee fans that had no idea that Pedro was a lost cause this year anyway and didn't know that the Mets were 11-12 in games he started. The ones happy because a player that has nothing to do with their team was injured and thought it was going to knock the Mets out of the playoffs. Laughing at an injury. Well, later that night it was announced that RJ was injured with a herniated disc in his back. The next day though, it wasn't a big deal though cause there the Yankees and Johnson wasn't an issue for them this year. Funny, it works for them, but not the Mets. The same Yankee fans thrilled when it was announced that El Duque was out for the playoffs and John Maine was starting game 1. lol, John Maine they said. Well, now I'm laughing. Kenny Rogers. ha. Kenny f*cking Rogers. I'll collect my $140 very happily at work tomorrow. All money from Yankee fans that said the Mets weren't geting past the first round. $20 each. He who laughs last laughs best. |

I'm not talking about rooting "for" anybody. I'm talking about not rooting against anybody. |

Don't sit there and tell me Yankee fans aren't as much if not worse douchebags than Mets fans. Yankee fans are arrogant snobs. |

You make that stupid generalization in a thread where a Yankee fan has been wishing you luck and making a case for not rooting against the Mets? Try reading for comprehension. |
