It was just revealed over the Mets telecast that Pedro has a torn tendon in the left leg. He hurt it while trying to rehab the right leg. |

That sucks. Seriously. I wanted a Yankees/Mets World Series. He was such a huge part of turning that teams around, and now he won't be part of the playoff run. |

Well for the most part we were the best in the NL without him, and we will just have to show people what our record shows all year |

It's not as big of a blow as most outsiders think it is. The Mets have enough other weapons to soften the impact of this. |

We shall see. The Yanks have a much tougher road than the Mets. Come on the NL is a joke this year. |

Mets 11-12 in games Pedro started this year. They did find a way to win 83 other games this year. |

Depth and offense will get you through a long season but in a short series starting pitching is paramount. Without Pedro it makes it much more difficult because El Dugue and Glavine must win since Trax and Maine are questionable at best. These guys are going to have to step up. All that’s really needed with our bullpen is 5 good innings from these guys. |

Like you said,"the guys need to step it up." It's not impossable. Like Jimmy Hoffa would say,"we can do dis." |
