f*ck everyone that said he shouldn't be on this team. Throw out what he's done in the past. If this guy came here and was his first year as a Yankee he'd have done his job.

So true moo moo! Contrary to popular opinion....Bernie isn't quite done yet, and he HAS CARRIED THIS TEAM in the past for stretches, unlike the 25 million dollar man, and all his feeble excuses!

The guy has been money all year. Playing every day, now getting less AB's and he's still coming up with big hits. Against Boston he's hitting .324, against the White Sox he's hitting .333 and .333 against Detroit. I'm not saying he's going to win comeback player of the year or even that he's hitting like he has in the past but who would've thought we'd see his average in the .280's this late with as many at bats as he's gotten? Bottom line is in the role he's filled this year he has played as well as you can ask.
