Jason Giambi has talked to MLB officials about touring with a team of All Stars to Japan following the season.

"If they put together a team I would like to go," Giambi said. "I like it over there."

~Take note Cashman~

Maybe we can unload him & his bloated contract in a few years to the Shinko DogEaters.

Personally I like the move. I've caught a couple Phillie games and every announcer raves about his fundamentals behind the plate, that whoever trained him did it the right way. You'll see he gets so low to the ground and is great at blocking pitches in the dirt.

You can expect him to look like this again, even though the long shaggy hair and handlebar mustache was quiet ambient. It hurt me a little when I shaved off the long hair last year, but I guess the chance to play for the Yankees means more than his new look.
