Homered in his first AB today. Up to .283, 7, 23rbi, 19 walks in 145 ABs on the year. thats .283, 27, 87, 72walks in a 550 AB season. I must admit thats a very nice rebound from earlier in the year. Most experts say he's still a top 100 prospect.

Good. He was rushed to Columbus. They didn't learn from their Drew Henson error, which was not exactly the same, but comparable.

I still think it had more to do with his back and just him slumping(poor pitch selection) in general then him being rushed, but its pretty clear now that he was better suited to start in Trenton this year. I mean its not like he was going to come up during the season or anything.

Walked in his second AB

Whatever the reason, he had no business in Columbus this year until he showed he had mastered Double-A.

Yeah. Next year will be perfect for him to go to AAA. He'll be 22 and coming off a good year at trenton.

He's also on pace for 53 doubles over 550 ABs I just noticed

He drew another walk in his last at bat and then got ejected in the bottom of that inning, which is impressive considering he DHed today.

This guy has the potential to not only be good, but to be a major cool cat! I say keep the guy! The VC uses him as a throw-in all the time, but he has talent.

This guy is seriously going nuts. another homerun and 2 walks already in today's game. up to 10 home runs and 23 walks in 153 ABs. He's starting to hit like he did in his MVP Arizona Fall league season.

Clippard Cruzing....6 shut out innings against a big time pitching prospect Kevin Slowey. Season era now down to 3.88
