Runner on 2nd and nobody out, and Jeter (one of the best inside out hitters in baseball, easily pulls the ball to the short stop. |

He also threw a ball offline to Jorge, but is this really the year to be "throwing sh*t" at Jeter? |

What I'm frustrated is that how many games and innings where Damon leads off and gets on where Jeter then makes something happen???? How many times have you seen Damon getting on by a walk and single and how many times have you seen Jeter hit a base hit driving him to third???? |

You have to be kidding me? Jeter is the last guy who should receive any criticism this year. In my book, Jeter, Damon, Mussina, and Mo are off limits this year. I can even see knocking Giambi because he's gone into dreadful slumps. The four I mentioned though, have done their jobs perfectly, as far as I am concerned.
Looks good to me. I figured it had to be good, considering the guy is hitting around .340. |

Not only that but Jeter's best numbers historically have been with a runner on first base only. I even brought it up as a reason that Jeter would get his AVG back up this season with Damon on the team in the stat prediction thread. The specific senerio he picked is the worste to critisize Jeter for. |

Agreed. It opens up the right side since Damon is being held on most of the time. |
