I'm not saying he shouldn't be, but man, he must have pissed some people off, he doesn't get into ANY games at all now. |

I wish they would put him back in the rotation. Why replace him with guys that are just as bad statistically such as Ponson and Kris Wilson. |

Silliness. We won the game last night primarily because Ponson kept us in it, even after the disasterous 1st inning (which was the first time he'd pitched in 2 weeks so somewhat understandable). Gotta give the guy some credit, where it's due. He's earned another start or two . . . ;) If Snoop Chacon was on the mound, we woulda lost 7-4. :no1: |

I'm going easy on you because you're Drew's friend, but the Carl Everett picture might not be too far off if you keep this up! I'm glad to have you in the mix though. Stick around for awhile. |

I had to also, as much as it pained me. We had a nice fling last year, but the our relationship just died this summer. |

Yeah Ponson's 5.40 ERA with Yankees is fantastic. HE WAS RELEASE BY TWO TEAMS FOR A REASON |

He pitched like crap in the Sally League and Weaver was destroyed in his 1st start for the Cardinals. Last night was a fluke. |

Fluke? he was crap. If I heard Kay say a "credable" performance one more time I was going to put my foot thru the TV. He was sh*t. |

Kay said, and I am quoting here, that Ponson had an "Incredible Performance". LOL, apparently having a 5.40 era is now incredible. |

Oh, now we judge ERAs after one game. I see. So if a guy is hitting .000 after Opening Day, he should be released? You asked for it. Posted Image Ponson deserves AT LEAST one more start.
Well that's going too far. This one is for Kay. Posted Image |

This season Ponson has a 5.26 ERA and hitters are batting .300 off him. The other night was just more mediocrity. |

Yeah, and what are the alternatives? They're trying out 5th starters. After the first inning, he showed them something, so they're giving him another start. |
