He's an intern at Newsday... said he heard Jim Baumbach talking to some guy on the phone about the Yankees going hard after Andru Jones.

He said Hughes and Wang are sure to go if this happens.

Getting rid of Wang would kill us. We can't give up pitching.

Ehh, I don't know... Wang's been too inconsistent this year.

Apparently, the Braves are quietly shopping Jones around, because his contract expires at the end of next season, and they think they won't be able to re-sign him.

Dude, you have a better pitcher than Wang to run out there? Johnson sucks...who knows if Wright can keep going. We can't afford to dealing pitching. We need a starting pitcher more than we need an outfielder.

and if they give up Hughes for a position player other than Pujols, I'll kill the bastards.

If we trade Hughes AND Wang I would expect nothing short of Santana/Mauer or Willis/Cabrera

You know, we need to replace Matsui, and possibly Sheffield, but why don't we need to replace Pavano?

Trading for a big bat will be a huge disaster. I don't care who it is.

If it means giving up substantial trading chips, I agree wholeheartedly.

Just got a message from him on ICQ... Braves would include Wilson Betemit. We would then send Betemit and Duncan for Brade Radke.

Sounds like its going to.

MLB Team Stats - Runs

And who has scored the most runs in MLB? You guessed it, the Yanks.

THE OFFENSE IS FINE. Even if we slip down a few places.

THE FU<KING STARTING PITCHING WILL KILL THIS TEAM, NOT THE BATS.
