A guy who hits .290-10-75 with 10 steals and plays good outfield defense would be a guy you don't want on your team? |

Silliness. There's no need for 25 HR hitters in every poistion on the field. |

Exactly. The numbers MM posted is the kind of guy we need. It doesn't matter what position he plays. |

where did you get those numbers for Melky? and we already have one of those in Damon, except the stolen bases may be higher! You want two of em on this team...........I don't think so. |

Sori also causes the most outs on a team. Don't forget about. Having Cano and him would be hell with all the outs they make. |

No doubt thats a solid player putting up those numbers, but the Yankees have always gotten better numbers from the outfield than that, so why should they change it for Melky. Like I said, he's a nice player at the plate, but nothing else stands out, and I wouldn't let him keep me from dealing for Sori if it had to involve him, or dealing for a pitcher if he was part of the package. Melky may become an even better player, who knows, but as I said, he can't even hold Sori's jock, so whoever thinks the Yanks are better off with him than Sori needs their head examined. |

I'll live with Sorianos Ks.....cause he can hit for avg and steal bases as well, and for all the bashing he takes, he's done it in a big spot before. |
