Yep - I thought he had hit 40 but 39 -38 from a 2nd Baseman is insane....I don't think Winfield was 38-39 back to back FFS! he was close but he wasn't a 2b either...Sori is a freak. |

Winnie hit 37 and 32 in '82 and '83. So what Sori did as a Right hander in Yankee stadium was a marvel!!!! |

His career high in K's is 157, the last two years he's been at 121 and 125 respectively. To compare, Jeter has struck out 117 times last year. Sure Sori K's a lot, but let's not go completely nuts, Rob Deer he is not!!!!!! |

I have no idea what you're talking about, I've been saying for a while that Melky deserves a shot and everybody was judging him on too few games. |

Is there any fight left in the dog.....?

unless Melky becomes a base stealing threat, on top of hitting for avg. he needs to be included in a Soriano package, or a package for pitching. He's a nice player so far, but not a cornerstone guy, so you don't keep him at all costs. I'm not saying he HAS to be traded.......but you don't call a trade off if they ask for him. |

cause hitting for avg in the outfield isn't enough to bring to the table as a Yankee! He needs either power and avg, or stealing and avg. Its also why I would deal him for Sori in a second. Sori brings power, speed, and avg to the table, and he has had post season success! |
