That's 4 RBIs for the Melkster, in a big game.

I know this isn't the best time for sunshine, but Melky doesn't look so fu<king bad. 306 in 36 ABs. 395 OBP.

He's done well.........but wheres the beef? No real power on display, and I don't think you can have a guy like him playing half a season at Yankee stadium with next to nothing power numbers. He is gonna be a good hitter for avg. but in the outfield, and without any speed on the bases, I don't think he is a fit here! I'll gladly trade him for Sori, provided we get Sori signed to a 3 or 4 year deal.

Every guy has to hit HRs? I'd love a guy who slaps the ball all over the field and gets on base. It looks like Melky could do that. I'd take .300+, 10-15, 75 RBI seasons out of him in a second.

Outfielders in Yankee stadium gotta have power or speed or a combo of both!

Why?

Why?

He gives us a lot of what we need. Consistent line drive hitting, good defense and arm, a little speed... I hope we keep the kid.

He has a chance to be something special. Vin hasn't nominated him for the Cool Cat's Club, YET! l
