Hey AllanFan! :peace:

Nice to see you, but no fu<king rebuilding yet! When we start missing the playoffs (at least 2 years in a row), we'll talk. This isn't the NBA. Usually any team that makes the playoffs is capable of winning the whole thing, if they get hot at the right time. And because a relatively small amount of teams make it, it still means alot just to make it.

Clemens is the way to go because (as Matty said) we wouldn't have to surrender any youth, and we wouldn't be committed long term.

The Yankees wouldn't sign Clemens to a contract any longer than the remainder of THIS season, that's why I have no problem with them throwing a blank check in front of him. :peace:

cmnyy, always good to see you.

I just think the Yankees need to steer the ship towards another direction, before they hit an iceberg. The way I've been seeing it, the Yanks pitching has becoming a worse issue every single year. Like I said, they've been attempting to make strides, but at the same time, but continue to starphuck. If we get Clemens for one year, fine. But no more Pavanos, no more going for career injury prone players like Pavano, who has one great ending contract season. No more RJs Start taking a look Wang and Chacun were good starts. Lets see how else they can go. Like I said, I don't have any trade proposals, b/c that's not up my alley. We need to develop a little patience.

Pavano was a move in the direction your talking about Allan. He's only 30 now. The move just backfired.
