Ortiz comes in 1/20 and so far is 5/8. Why has this guy not bled from his ears yet? Oh and for the first time since he's been here Mussina's pitching like an ace. |

He's had other stretches, as well as most of his first season here. |

I know Manny is behind him, so it really isn't smart to Intentional walk him...But the guy is as deadly as Pujols at the plate, yet teams continue to pitch to those guys due to who's behind him... Don't really know what to say. |

That's obvious. But you do have to respect that Ramirez is behind him and he is one of the best hitters in the last 10 years... |

Manny is great, one of the best hitters I have ever seen. That's why I never say to intentionally walk Ortiz. There might be a situation in which I would consider it, but the key is to make him feel uncomfortable. Not only plunk him at some point when the game is out of hand and he can't hurt you (like last night), but also brush him off the plate other times without hitting him. He's way too comfortable batting against the Yankees. |

You don't even have to drill Ortiz, just run some pitches under his chin until he gets the point. |

Manny is at the top of the list with the Great right handed hitters I've ever seen .. Winfield, McGwire, Canseco, Albert Belle, ..... A-Rod is there b/c of his HR total - but he has holes in his swing... |

Manny is the most relaxed hitter I've ever seen. Just the opposite of Tense-Rod. |
