THIS IS THE TYPE OF ASSBEATING EMBARRASSMENT THAT CAN SEND THE SEASON INTO AN IRREVERSIBLE DOWNWARD SLIDE INTO A PUDDLE OF SH!T.... AFTER THIS GAME - THE YANKEE PLAYERS WILL ALL BE WONDERING IF THEY ARE JUST A BULLY LINEUP WHO CAN ONLY BEAT BAD TEAMS....AND MEDIOCRE PITCHERS LIKE TEXAS AND TAMPA HAVE..... WE'RE IN TROUBLE PEOPLE....THE GAME IS MORE MENTAL THAN ANYTHING ELSE...AND RIGHT NOW BOSTON IS UP OUR ASS AND IN OUR HEADS ... |

I don't buy it. The Yankees will still win their 90+ games, beat out Boston by a game or two, and lose in the first round of the playoffs, at the least. |

To me losing like this is better then losing a 3-2 heartbreaker. I'm fine with this, I'm just really concerned about who is going to anchor this staff right now. Tomorrow we need to come out score some runs off Schilling and get a great start of Mussina. I'm so over this game and so should our players! |

We're beyond trouble if the next two games follow this trend. They better f*cking win tomorrow and Thursday, period. |

I get especially upset over blowouts, since they are embarrassing, especially when I get no fantasy production. Last year, when Ortiz was going uppertank off Moose, I was benefitting. This sh*t is doing nothing for me, plus I gotta witness it. |

Yup, another first round loss. If nothing else, at least it'll keep the happy fans satisfied. |

I think it'd be better for baseball if the Yankees didn't make it. They are starting to be the Braves, in that they make the playoffs, but you don't have to fear them and they are just taking up a spot. Honestly, I'd much rather have had the Phils or something over the Braves last year, just like the Indians instead of the Yankees |

I was going to put 95 since that's what they won last year and it's easily attainable this season, but decided to be more general and go with 90+. |

I'm not ruling out 100. They weren't far from it last year and I don't see a 11-19 swoon at any point this season. |

It definitely changed the feel of this rivalry. The unbeatable when it matters aura is gone and never coming back. |

The writers should not put him in the HOF. Anybody can pitch for Seattle and Arizona. |
