Deleted PMs But Folder Still 91% Full

Unregistered	Instead of deleting my old messages individually like I usually do, I saw the tab to empty PM folders and deleted them that way. And now, although the messages are deleted, my PM folder is still full. I don't know what to do to clear the space. It's not that important, but I'd like to have the folder empty. Thanks
