Aside from the Anderson K, which wasn't even that sharp, his slider has been crap again. Also, when you have 2 strikes on Vlad, try not to assume he can't hit a high fastball. I can understand wanting to make him extend the strikezone, but don't put it where Vlad consistantly gets hits with. Didn't understand that pitch call at all. Not Johnson's fault at all, since normal hitters shouldn't do much with that, but this is Vlad. |

John Sunn's fastball is looking sharp again. The slider has been sh*t so far though. I want to see him put it all together, in which case we could actually have the Randy Johnson we thought we were getting. |

Stan Nett is a pitcher batting 9th. I hate his face already. Rob was right to assume he'd hate this schmuck looking at his picture. That throw to 2nd was a bigger dud than anything Posada has ever thrown |

Santana's been up in the zone all game and we only got that Jeter HR. The sad part is if Kaat was around, he'd go off the results and praise. |

I'll give Santana some credit; he is mixing in his pitches nicely and isn't totally missing by a lot with his balls. That type of pitching can keep a team off balance, but his fastball hasn't impressed me much though and he should be getting tagged with it |

This f*cking team. Seriously. If this was Boston, Santana has surrendered at least 3 runs |

Jeter's range. Any questions? Even the hits up the middle, just follow his reaction. He doesn't start moving in the balls direction until way too late |

Jesus, he's getting away with a hanging slider like none other. It's going right down broadway and hanging |

Notice all our outs are seemingly in the air? Isn't this supposed to be a groundball pitcher? I hate this team. I'm just glad Kaatbag ain't around to undeservedly lick some balls. |

John Sunn only seems to find his slider for Garrett Anderson. Totally overmatched him in 3 pitches there |

John Sunn has done a good job today. Seriously. If Stinnett comes up with a better waste pitch on Vlad instead of a fastball up that is essentially in Vlad's wheelhouse, he doesn't give up a run |

Had that been with the bases loaded, it drops in and all 3 runners score. Don't be fooled. I so hate that ****** |

This is starting to remind me of a Greg Maddux Sunday night game against us years ago for Atlanta. The whole time, Maddux was looking hittable, never dominating, and the batters were making solid contact or just missing. But then you look at the scoreboard and you notice it's getting late in the game and he's only given up 1 run. |

Why are they praising Santana? He's leaving pitches over the fat of the plate. He's only struck out Stan Nett too from my recollection. Hardly dominant or unhittable like they are making it sound |

There's a little bullshit single after the umpire calls a strike a ball and RJ has to challenge 2-0. |

Johnson's using his slider better now. He's throwing a nice backdoor slider, which he got squeezed on against Rivera twice, but it set up Salmon for that K |

Great job there by RJ. Mo Lena spoiled a lot of good pitches and then he blows one away up. Singleton is right. |

Yeah, brilliant pitchcalling. Let's go in when Johnson's slider is finally working and made Garrett Anderson look silly the inning earlier. You can't help but hate the f*ck out of this tea,m |

You should be incensed with Stan Nett right now for that shitty pitchcalling job and not something as simplistic as name spoofs. |
