1 ip, 1 run, 1 k tonight vs Harrisburg.
Came in with runners on, gave up a hard luck infield single that scored a run...that guy stole second on a strikeout, the next hitter singled for two more runs and the last hitter grownded into a DP.
3.0 ip, 1 run, 6 ks on the year so far for Cox

Can we keep all this garbage in one thread for the minor league geeks like yourself, MM and Amit. I only care about these guys untill they make it to NY. Untill then they're minor league trash like Proctor and Bubba.

It's spelled "until." You've been spelling it wrong for as long as I've been posting with you and it's always pissed me off.

So if a person has a poppy seed stuck in their teeth you don't say anything until it's too late? It would have been nice to know this 3 1/2 years ago, Andrew.

Hey, I only started the Cox thread. Hughes and Tabata weren't me. Either way is this really any worse than having a hundred "Reasons the Yankees suck even if they win" threads? This is something to talk about if you ignore the monotonous crap that gets re-re-re-re-re-posted around here.

It needs to be known that this team will not be winning a championship though. :peace:

:please: There's only one true way to know if these scrubs with succeed. Tabatha was named after a little girl on bewitched and thus he fails the Stryder name test and will be garbage. J.B. Cox sounds like a gay porno star from the back woods of Kentucky. He also fails the all important test and will never amount to anything. Hughes is an All American name (plus he's White as Wonder Bread ;) ). He will be a big star... :agent:

Way to wait till the last minute.
RE Moving: We found a house we had to have and it wouldn't wait.
RE taxes, the records I needed were not available until recently and unfortunately with this new IRS Wash Sale rule, plus stock splits, symbol changes, private placements, foreign dividends in the form of partial return of capital etc, my taxes were VERY complex.
Thankfully, I am finished with both moving and taxes and it's time to PARTY!

Very good piece on Cox
He pitched 3 innings last night, struck out 2, walked 1, and didn't give up any hits. 6-1 ground ball-flyball, era now down to 2.00 with 17Ks in 18 innings.

3 hitless innings today, 1 walk, 2 Ks, season era down to 1.39!! He hasn't given up a homerun this year and has only given up 9 doubles all year. Hitters just pound the ball into the dirt because they can't make hard contact with his pitches. I know Trenton is in a pennant race, but he has nothing left to prove there, and the CWS is more pressure packed then the AA playoffs. He needs to go to at least Columbus. I can't see him not being on the Yankees early next season, maybe even right out of spring training. Remember he's pitching 3 innings at a time down there, so when he comes down to 2 or 1 at a time he should K more and be even tougher.
