Startig Hughes in Tampa is probably a good idea because of the weather. Melky in Center and Thompson in Right is stupid, unless they plan on trading Melky this year. Charleston should be fun to keep track of with Henry, Jackson, and Tabata on the same team. Its an important year for Nunez, Battle, and Marquez in Tampa I still think we see Cox this year. If we don't have a good draft Fermin is going to be the only cool player on Staten Island this year. |

I love how guys like Eric Byrnes and Tanyon Sturtze get their balls licked by people around here and guys we have already that are better get shrugged off because they don't have baseball cards. Makes alot of sence :smirk: We can all pretend that Cashman turned down Wang and Cano for Willis and Cabrera or that there is a world wide conspiricy to not give the Yankees any talent, but the fact is we haven't been able to trade for anyone usefull because we have had nobody to trade. Like it or not some of these guys are going to get us usefull players. Oh and don't worry, you'll have heard of them and seen them on sports center, so they won't suck like all the minor leaguers. :peace: |

Na, their all DooDoo. The Yankees keep drafting catchers too early because its a need in the system. It makes no sence for baseball teams to draft based on need. We took Jon Potterson, a guy whose only tool is power and who obviously had to be moved from catcher, over Huston Street. :no1: Parish was another first rounder :no1: . They are supposedly talking to the agent of a 15 year old super prospect so they can sign him right when he turns 16. Forget the kids name, but that would be cool. This teams next catcher isn't in the system now, if he is we're in trouble. |
