Just because it didn't work out doesn't mean he shouldn't have been out there.

Yeah, Torre is f*cking ridiculous. It's like he would do the same thing tonight if push came to shove. OH wait, the guys out the pen aren't allowed to pitch on consecutive days according to what Kim Jones said! :-| Proctor is probably an exception to that rule.

Torre is so stupid sometimes. Protor should be the first to go. I want him to be the first Yankee sent down or designated for assignment.

I totally understand not wanting to burn guys out in August and September but Jesus Christ it's the 3rd game of the season. It makes no sense at all. NONE! If I was Farnsworth I'd be royally pissed off getting pulled after 10 friggin pitches.

A little off topic, but I was right about A-Rod last night. He was trying to draw a cut to second base so Sheff would score easier.

PS- :-| on the Torre comment.

You know what that Joe comment smells of? Job security. He doesn't give a f*ck, has no accountability and he's defending himself with an arrogant swagger like, "Simpletons, obviously you don't understand baseball. This is a sport in which I've mastered, both as a player and manager. I'm a surefire Hall of Famer and you dare question me? Just because a move doesn't work doesn't mean it was a mistake. Fools."

Rob, Proctor shouldn't be the first to go. It should be Torre.

That's exactly what Torre said when Juan Acevedo came into pitch against the Cubs that day. If the Yankees start off bad again he will not make it.

Oh, stop it. You know better. You know damn well that Joseph isn't going anywhere. His job is more safe than a Supreme Court judge's.

He just needs to be forced out, seriously. This assclown has no business managing this team, if he wants to go f*ck up someother team, be my guest, but he needs to get the hell out of my team's dugout.

Of course you were right. It was obvious what he was trying to do.

I honestly think that Joe wouldn't mind being fired. He'd get his money and retire to his estate. You saw the pictures of him yawning and sitting with his legs crossed. I know it's spring training but that combined with other sh*t tells you he's become complacent. I don't care what he says. And I honestly don't care if he is. A focused Joe ain't doing sh*t anyway. My biggest knock on Steinbrenner for anything recent is not firing Torre after 2003.

I thought he was gone after '03 myself. '04 for sure. The guy just keeps f*cking coming back. :furious:

That analogy is really apt too. Torre has never ever been on the bubble despite all of his idiocy. It's pretty sad. George has come to accept a playoff berth as success.

Torre is backed by the media, the average Yankee fan and Cash. He’s not going anywhere unless the Yankees fall out of the race and that’s not happening.

Would've been good if they had missed the playoffs last year.

I thought he was after 2003 but he was never really-really for real on the bubble. A-Rod and Sheffield came so that made George's pee-pee stand up.
