Did you see that. Perfect fastball for strike 1 and then two riduculous sliders. Best stuff in the AL bar none

Matsui looked silly there, nasty drop by Harden.

Eats Posada up with a fastball. Surprised he hit that as hard as he did

Wow, I'm changing my prediction. 7-0 A's. We're not touching this guy tonight.

JD Drew hits a HR for both my fantasy teams. I'm in the zone so far HR wise. We should try a Sheffield for Drew swap

That's why I said they're loaded - this guy just had a better inning than any inning Randy Johnson threw last season 2nd and 3rd no out - 3 straight k's!

Now hes inducing groundballs, which means his fastball is heavy. Seriously, the 1st was the time to get him. Three jerkoffs f*cked us. Harden has even better stuff now

If he keeps swinging the bat like he has, I'd be all for trying to get that f*cking prick out of here. He didn't impress me much in Spring Training and he really looked f*cking pathetic in his first ab tonight. Like he didn't even give a sh*t. I'm really beginning to hate him.

Now the question is, Mussina's hitting his spots almost perfectly. Is this one of those games where he implodes in the 4th or 5th for no reason

I knew it.  Right after Jason swung like an a-hole at ball 4, I knew Harden would just blow one right past him.  Terrible inning.

Why'd you call a Giambi HR then? You're better than that. No way Jason can turn on a Harden fastball. f*cker's bat speed is not what it was when he was in Oakland. He'll hit .275 this year max. I don't care what anyone says, he does not look good so far, Spring included.

When did I say Giambi's going to hit a 3-2 95mph fastball out of the ballpark?! Especially after looking like a clown swinging it a ball. Predicting a HR before the game, and getting the feeling that he's going to K after the way he looked the previous swing are 2 totally different things.

And Harden's thrown 40 pitches in 2 innings, if the Yanks work the count, he'll be out by the 6th. Giambi could homer off a reliever. :dunno:

I'm just dicking with ya, but Giambi really does look overmatched against the really good fastball pitchers. Even Zito yesterday with nuffin blew him away.

Kay just said Moose was perfect through 2. That means he's giving up at lest 2 runs next inning. Kay just bothers me sometimes.

This game has one of those feels that it's just a loss.  But with the way we swung the bats last night, I could see us scoring runs.  I'm just really nervous about Mussina this season.  Really, really nervous.

But until we lose a game, I'm going to keep predicting wins.

Yankees - 7
Oakland - 5

Mussina:  5.2 IP  4 ER

Pick to Click:  Jason Giambi, 2-3, HR, 3 RBI

The way Giambi has looked, I can feel confident saying he isn't turning on a Harden fastball. If someone HRs, it'll be Matsui

Giambi has looked like sh*t for the first 2 games.

Giambi's always been a slow starter anyway, you guys are making observations on 6 or 7 plate appearances out of about 600!!!! Let's calm down.

Mussina looks like a Cy Young winner after 2 innings. Does that mean anything at all? No!

 I went to one of Henrik's shutouts against florida. Fun game, the team is not only good, but fun to watch this year. Playing Sweet Caroline when the win is f-ing Great. They are streaky, but i have a good feeling about this year.

Moose looks good, but its only a matter of time before he analyzes himself into a 5 run inning.
