It's more annoying to me that Jeter Ks 110-115 times batting 2nd. You're supposed to have bat control in the 2nd spot. In the 3rd, you're there to drive in runs and A-Rod certainly does that |

I like when he throws the split. It acts as a nice off speed pitch to the fastball and hard slider. |

Yeah, you can usually see how the bats are totally confused and slowed down. He doesn't usually get swing and misses though, but he induces some popouts and weak hacks. |

I'm guessing he was stealing, because Jeter didn't swing. |

But Jeter should have the right to friggin nail a meatball. I can't believe Jeter. He just made Saarloos look like a good pitcher. The guy Ks about 3 per 9 IP |

What sh*t. Johnson pitches a great AB and gives up a shitty single to leadoff. |

Nice piece of hitting by Kotsay. Motherf*ckers got 2 on. That sh*t infield single better not cost us |

I give him credit. Instead of dicking around, he made sure to just throw a strike. I want Chavez out. Let Frank hit a solo shot in the 4th |

Jeter and Johnny need to work on that cutoff play. Matsui and Jeter got it down perfect. Johnson is pitching very well, he's given up some soft infield singles and bloops. Besides the Thomas HR, I like what I see so far. |

Agreed. I don't get Posada on the Chavez AB though. Why go in the guy's wheelhouse? I know you don't want to dick around, but a HR there and it's 7-4. Go away. |
