That's the difference between the Sally League and American League. Zito probably goes 6, giving up 4. |

A-Rod needs to bat 3rd. With either Matsui or Giambi behind him. F*ck Sheffield! |

You calm down, you twat. The best hitter needs to bat 3rd. A-Rod won the MVP last season! Why put a guy who's declining 3rd? It makes no sense. At least put Matsui there. Sheffield needs to bat 5th. |

Rob, if G. Ombi can get on base at a .400 clip, why not him 3rd, so that he's got A-Rod's protection and can set a bit of a table for A-Rod to clean. When Homie and I talked about that, I think your idea, which was Giambi 3rd and A-Rod 4th, started to make the most sense |

A-Rod strikes out too much to bat 3rd. |

We should have given Big Hurt a deal with incentives. This guy is slugger in every sense of the word. I love watching this guy |

I would bat Giambi 3rd, then A-Rod, Matsui, and Sheffield. But I don't think Torre will do that. |

Nice harmless situation, although it reminds me of how we could have had Frank batting 6th or 7th |

Number one, you can shove that "twat" comment up your ass. Number 2. It's one game, a lineup card can C-H-A-N-G-E, ok? The only problem I have is Matsui behind Giambi. ARod 4th is great, Damon-Jeter and Sheff will get on base, prime spot for RBIs |

Is it me or does Randy have a slider today? Either that or the splitter, which he doesn't usually use as a strikeout pitch |

Its true 473.. You should stay away from a 120K batter for the 3 spot especially with Damon/Jeter most likely on base. Matsui would be the better option over Sheffield or A-Rod. Yeah he won the MVP... batting 4th |

The offspeed is working, and the fastball is being located well enough. I'd say 6, 7 innings of 2, 3 runs if he keeps this up. I'm happy to see the slider. |
