Posada back behind the plate. The Yankees are fielding the team they will field pretty much every day.

Lots of teams are wearing those new college-type batting helmets, the Muets are using them too. I wonder if it's just for Spring Training.

What's the diff in the helmets? Are they the ones that look like they have grooves in them?

Oh wise Robert, do you think Cantu is for real and follow up that unheralded 117 RBI first full year?

Yeah, they have grooves and little slits in them. I guess they are supposed to be aerodynamic. :-||

I bet it will increase Posada and Giambi's steals! ;)

He will not get that many RBI again. Not until he leaves the Rays as a Free Agent. But No Dought Abought It, he is the real deal. Expect 95-105 RBI this season.

It has been said by Me, and it shall be so.

Remember when Edwin Jackson was THE pitching prospect in the minors? The Dodgers must've given up on him to include him with another guy no less for Danys Baez

The Yanks aren't wearing them, the Devil Rays are. The Yankees are too good to wear stupid gimmicky sh*t like that. We leave that to the Muets, and thier orange jerseys. :smirk:

I drafted him in the middle rounds of a Yahoo draft 2 season's ago! Thinking he would get a shot to make the rotation and be a stud. He ended up sucking that spring and starting the year in the bullpen. Then went back down to the minors! :-||

By the way, Maz is managing the game. Torre is off in AAA land watching his precious Jaret Wright face a bunch of 20 year olds.

Giambi walks, but Posada pops up. Jackson has thrown like 20 pitches in 2 innings.

Giambi gets 1 AB, walks, and is then taken out. He better not be hurt.

Huff with a double.

Moose looks like crap. He's falling behind every hitter. Fastball is 85-86mph <_<
