Yankees finally show some fight. What an ass. The Red Sox have hit our guys at a 4-1 clip for like the last 5 years, it's gotten beyond ridiculous and that pitch to Jeter, I don't care what Francona says, was intentional. I know Myers hit Snow, which to think that was intentional was idiotic, but apparently Boston did since Riske felt the need to drill Jeter. The Red Sox have got so accustomed to drilling our guys with out response that now they almost expect us to sit back and just take it. Time to start sticking up for ourselves, we beat them on the scoreboard and hit 2 guys to their 1 last night. Hopefully that happens in the regular season too, and in the ALCS should we meet them there. |

Did you expect otherwise? What makes people, teams, etc hateable is their response to getting what they deserve is to act outraged and like a victim with no regard to the fact they deserve what they got(It happens on message boards as well wink wink). It just adds to making them hateable. Look at Varitek and his cheapshot on A-Rod. It was bad enough that punk intentionally nailed him in the back and that the Yankees took Pedro's crap for years, including throwing an old man to the ground, but they had to be the ones to actually initate the physicality. Talk about bullshit. |

I didn't expect otherwise. Francona, just like everybody associated with that franchise and that city, lacks class. I just find it hilarious when they bitch about stuff like this, we owe them a hell of a lot more than what happened last night. If they thought that was bad, they should just wait until another team is hitting their a-hole players at a 4-1 clip. Hopefully that team will be us, this year, but I won't count on that. Not with Joe Torre at the helm. |

Francona has zero right to complain about his guys getting hit. The Yanks are due 50 free shots on the Sox. Ortiz alone deserves 20 of them. |

If nothing else they need to at least, AT LEAST, start backing that fat f*ck off the plate. I've had it with him hitting 10 home runs+ off us and not even being moved an inch the next time he comes up. He's shown up our pitchers, he's made the Yankees look completely pathetic and we just sit there and let it happen. :furious: |

It's past the point of a brush back in my opinion. He needs a serious heater to the dome. And not one that can be shrugged off, like when Lilly got Spiezio in the head. I'm talking Solomon Torres on Sammy Sosa, one where he goes into a deep funk and his head is seeing stars for weeks afterwards. A blow that takes will power and fearlessness to overcome. A cracked helmet special. Strider, where's the picture? |
