All this talk about Baseball movies got be thinking about the all-time movie team.

C- Dottie Hinson (Genna Davis- "A League of Their Own")
1B- Benny "The Jet" Rodriguez (Mike Vitar- "The Sandlot")
2B- ???
3B- Roger Dorn (Corbin Bernsen- "Major League")
SS- Tanner Boyle (Chris Barnes- "Bad News Bears")
OF- Bobby Raybourn (Wesley Snipes- "The Fan")
OF- Roy Hobbs (Robert Redford- "The Natural")
OF- Pedro Cerrano (Dennis Haysbert- "Major League")
DH- Jack Parkman (David Keith- "Major League II")

SP#1- Nuke LaLoosh (Tim Robbins- "Bull Durham")
SP#2- Rick Vaughn (Charlie Sheen- "Major League")
SP#3- Mel Clark (Tony Danza- "Angels in the Outfield")
SP#4- Eddie Harris("Are you saying Jesus Christ can't hit a curve ball?") (Chelcie Ross- "Major League")
SP#5- Steve Nebraska- (Brennan Fraser- "The Scout")

RP- Jimmy Morris (Dennis Quaid- "The Rookie")
RP- Henry Rowengartner (Thomas Ian Nicholas- "Rookie of the Year")
RP- Jim Bowers (Johnathan Silverman- "Little Big League")

Manager- Lou Brown (James Gammon- "Major League")
Bench Coach- George Knox (Danny Glover- "Angels in the Outfield")

I can't think of anyone for 2nd base and for catcher is was tough between Geena Davis, Kevin Costner in Bull Durham and David Keith from Major League II.

   Good work and nice detail. I'd add in Eddie Cicotte from Eight Men Out(The guy that told Edie Falco she was strong-arming him with her pussy in the Sopranos) The guy would have won 30 games without Comiskey stopping him, and he's real. Pitching wise, can't ask for a better guy for the rotation.

Also, for DH, I'd have Rosie O'Donnell's character from A League of the Own. She's got all the looks of a David Ortiz. Parkman gets in there over Dottie. He had a mean streak. Dottie was a soft lesbian when it came down to it. If the end scene has Jack Parkman, that dyke is dead at the plate. "Don't stand on the tracks when the train is coming through." End movie

Any mention of James Gammon gets a  from me

Benny the Jet was a 1B?

With his speed I always imagined him an OF, you could always pencil him in at 2nd and take another 1B, good list all around though

I don't think you can take real players WNCYankeeFan. There would too many. For instance, Babe Ruth was in Pride of the Yankees.

2B - Marla Hooch (Megan Cavanagh - "A League of Their Own")

BTW - For the rotation: Delroy Lindo as Satchel Paige in Soul of the Game - But really should ditch characters who were real life players (Jimmy Morris). Opens up a can of worms. Cobb, Gehrig, Mantle, Maris, Ruth, Joe Jackson .... Goes on and on.

Allow the chicks though. (Tits.)
